CONDITIONS

To make you feel safe when shopping with us, we have created some simple guidelines for placing orders via website, email or phone.

OPENING HOURS

The order office is open Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Food delivery and pickup are by appointment.

MINIMUM NUMBER

We have a minimum number of 10 people per menu.

HIRE OF PERSONNEL

Hours for a chef are calculated from departure from our kitchen. Minimum working time is 2 hours.

Chef rental: NOK 750,- per hour, per person

From September 1, 2026, the price for hiring a chef will be adjusted to NOK 925 per hour, per person.

ORDER

We aim to receive all orders as soon as possible. If necessary, simple changes and updates can be made up until the actual order deadline. We respond to all orders/requests on an ongoing basis. If a submitted order/request is not responded to within 24 hours, the buyer must contact Maxi Catering again.

ORDER DEADLINES AND CHANGE DEADLINES

When ordering corporate menus and larger events requiring personnel, we encourage the customer to contact us as early as possible so that we can be able to deliver.

For smaller orders, we must have received the order no later than one business day in advance.

Delivery changes must be agreed in good time and no later than 2 business days in advance.

CANCELLATION DEADLINE

You must contact us and cancel no later than 3 business days before the agreed delivery date.

You will be invoiced 50% of the price if you cancel less than 2 business days in advance. If you cancel later than 2 business days in advance, you may be invoiced 100% of the agreed price if we are unable to use the goods for another catering.

Cancellations must be made via email to post@maxicatering.no. We do not accept cancellations by phone only, but please call us to inform us directly.

PRICES AND VAT

All prices on the website are inclusive of 15% VAT and exclusive of delivery.

Shipping and personnel hire are inclusive of 25% VAT.

DELIVERY COSTS

Weekdays 08:00-15:30 NOK 200,-

Weekdays after 15:30 NOK 300,-

Saturday & Sunday NOK 300,-

All delivery prices up to 20 km driving distance from Stålveien 9. Beyond this, NOK 24 per extra km is added.

DEPOSIT

For weddings and other large events, it may be appropriate to establish a deposit.

PICK UP YOUR ORDER

It is possible to pick up orders at Maxi Catering's premises by appointment.

Monday – Friday 08:00 – 18:00 / by appointment

Saturday 11:00 – 18:00 / by appointment

Sunday 11:00 – 14:00

PRACTICAL CONDITIONS OF DELIVERY

The exact delivery time and address are agreed upon before delivery, but a desired time window must always be stated. It is a prerequisite that the customer is present at the time of delivery, otherwise the food will be left at the delivery address at the customer's expense and risk .

Cold food comes ready-made on plates. It will be possible to borrow boxes used for transport, if the customer wishes to store the plates in these until serving. In that case, the buyer must return the boxes to Maxi Catering within 5 working days. All buffet menus (cold dishes, tapas, etc.) come ready to heat. If you want the food ready-made, it costs 25,- per person.

Hot food comes in aluminum molds packed in one or more polystyrene boxes. It keeps the food hot for at least two hours after delivery. The buyer is responsible for returning the packaging, if it is not appropriate to return it to us or possibly arrange for collection for an additional delivery fee.

It is the buyer's responsibility to check that the delivery corresponds to the order confirmation. In the event of any discrepancies, contact Maxi Catering immediately on tel. 40001954. This is so that we can process the discrepancy as quickly as possible.

PAYMENT

Payment is made by invoice. We invoice continuously after delivery is completed. A correct invoice address with any reference number, cost center or other marking must be clarified before delivery has taken place. We operate with a 10-day payment deadline unless otherwise agreed.

Invoice fee: NOK 37.50,-

No invoice fee for invoices sent by email.
